I don't know about you guys, but I am definitely ready for the new year. Towards the end of this past Saturday’s show, I played some tracks from a few of my favorite albums of this past year (XX, It’s Blitz) and some artists who will be putting out new albums in the coming months (The Avalanches, Flying Lotus, Free the Robots). I also had to end my last show of the year with La Roux, Empire of the Sun, and Phoenix – gotta close out 2009 with the dance-inducing, guilty pleasures :). Happy New Year everyone!
